  I ordered this dress in pink, and I absolutely love it! The ties add so much detail. I like that the fit isn't tight, but it also isn't baggy. The dress is nicely lined, so you don't have to worry about it being see-through. This is a cute dress at a great price!

  Adorable dress! The adjustable ties add visual interest & allow you to customize the fit. It fits as expected, true to size. It has a liner inside, which is great to prevent anything showing through. The V neck looks nice as well. The only minor complaint I have is the very slightly rough texture of the material, but I knew it would be before ordering, & the slip liner inside prevents any roughness against your skin.

  So, this is basically my bazillionth order from Dokotoo, and they have never let me down. The standard of quality is very high. This is a very easy to wear, and easy to style, dress. There's a satiny liner, and it feels lovely on. It hits just above the knee, and the neckline is pretty and flattering. Even for me, a 6' transwoman. What I REALLY appreciate is the dual drawstrings. One on each side of the ribcage. Being trans, and having a larger upper body can make it hard to achieve that cute, a-line, look, and it can be very frustrating. The two drawstrings give me a lot more control over how it hangs, and how much I cinch it in. It's very easy to achieve a shape that feels pretty, which means the world to me. Now, I just need some warmer weather!!!

  This dress didn't look like much when it arrived. It was extremely wrinkled, and hung like a sack on me. I washed it and dried it on low. No problems there. It held up well in the washer and dryer, and the black dye didn't run or fade. Then I steamed all the wrinkles out with my garment steamer. I was struggling to figure out how to cinch the ties in the front of the dress to give it some shape. I finally figured out, you pull the two ties on the left tight and tie them in a bow, then you do the same with the two ties on the right. Once I figured that out, it's a cute dress, and very comfortable. I am 5'4", and about 165 pounds. A large fits me well, and comes just to my knee. The stitching is fine, and seems like it will last. The fabric is medium weight, and fairly soft. I think the wrinkles were just from shipping, and I don't think it will wrinkle like that when I wash it. I feel it's a good value for the price, and will make a nice summer dress. It is lined, so it's not see-through at all.

  I got this dress in green, and it's a very pretty olive color that is true to the product photos. The dress itself is super comfortable and is made from a heavier fabric so it falls correctly. The dress is even lined, so it is not see through at all! The dress comes completely uncinched, so its a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to get the cinch you want. Its nice that the dress is adjustable in this way for days when you feel a different size than normal. The front cinch falls at an empire waist, and the back waist falls to the natural waist. It looks fine, but it feels a little weird.

  This is a cute dress. It is polyester so it has a shiny slick quality to it. I was hoping for a more matte soft stretchy quality. It is a bit bulky. I’m not sure if a smaller size would help that or not. I returned it because I need something a little more casual. But over all it’s cute.

  These were the comments from my wife:She really liked the fabric that is thicker with a little stretch to it. She was also pleasantly surprised that the dress was lined. She liked the two side cords that could be used in different ways like bows on the side or to tie around and bow in the back.She did also say this is not a great fit for larger chested ladies. She’s 5’5” with a full C cup and the front seem of the dress on the medium just comes up too high across her chest instead of under like the models in the product pictures. It wasn’t really a sizing issue as she liked the other fit everywhere else, just the placement of the seem didn’t work.For her it’s probably just going to be used as a pool cover up. For others it would be a great everyday dress.

  I love a good empire waist. They're generally flattering on me and they're good at hiding flaws. This dress just isn't doing it for me. It's fully lined, and the overlay fabric is not stretchy. It feels okay, but it doesn't really cinch well, and maybe that's why this empire waist is not working for me. I'm 5'4" and wear a size 12. The large fits just fine, but I think it kind of looks like a sack on me. It's not cir like a house dress. I feel like it's supposed to cinch better and give it a better line, but I'm not able to get it to hang better.
